
The founder of Mon Amie Events NYC, Mona is a music fan through and through. She learned to DJ at her college radio station, KALX Berkeley, over 20 years ago, and quickly segued to DJing a Bay Area club every Saturday night for 5 years. She moved to NYC in 2008 and started DJing weddings for friends of friends, before word of mouth created a DJ schedule worthy of founding a business. She still loves freeform radio and DJs every Friday 3-6pm on WFMU. Mona loves mixing disparate genres and eras to keep people of all generations dancing the night away. Her personal favorite genres are Electronic (including Synth Pop / New Wave / Early Rave / Italo), Brit Pop, Shoegaze, Goth, Post Punk, and Hip Hop.

BABES has been a professional DJ, throwing parties in NYC since 2018. They have worked in nightlife since 2012, as a professional drag queen and entertainer, in their home country of Australia. This flare for the dramatics has led to the superstar you now see in front of you. BABES is very comfortable on the mic after years of hosting, comedy, and public speaking; they always guarantee a feast for the ears, the eyes and your dancing shoes!

Olivia got her start DJing over ten years ago at her college radio station WPRB, in Princeton, NJ. She's been DJing around NYC + on the radio at WFMU since then, and was WFMU's Music Director from 2018-2024. She loves all types of genres, especially Dance, Soul, R&B, and Electronic. Her vocal delivery is soft and sweet, perfect for friendly, low-key emceeing.

Hailing from Derry, Northern Ireland, Andrew has a great love and deep knowledge of UK music across eras and genres. He has been DJing weddings since 2020 and has been working in high-end service for over 20 years, cultivating cocktails for some of NYC's most iconic establishments. His personal favorite music includes Soul, Indie, Britpop, Electronic, old school Hip Hop and Reggae.

Andrew maintains his Northern Irish lilt and is great on the mic for short and sweet announcements.

As a radio DJ at eclectic WFMU, Amanda has deep love for all musical genres—from Punk and Soul to dad rock and kiddie songs. Her favorite moments are when all ages fill the floor together and sing along! Favorite artists include ELO, A Tribe Called Quest, the Monkees, Etta James, Thin Lizzy, and many, many more.

A New York City native, Amanda can be heard DJing in bars around town as well as doing voice over and radio work. Favorite gig venues include Ore Bar, Talea Brewery, and Central Park Summerstage.

Higher Love is a DJ partnership co-founded by Lila Holland and Jesse Pollock. Each started DJing in San Francisco in the mid-2000s and have been making people dance at parties ever since - including at their first joint DJ gig, their own wedding in 2012. Lila and Jesse specialize in all-vinyl sets, though they aren't opposed to bringing in the laptop when called for, and love to get every last person up and onto the dance floor.
When they aren't playing music, Jesse works as Managing Editor of Anthology / Mexican Summer Records, and also releases small press books and vinyl via Unpiano Books. Lila is a wine importer and consultant, and produces small and large scale wine industry events in New York.
